Myles Murao believes Alabama is the ‘best team in CFB’

Alabama offered 2020 offensive lineman Myles Murao on Thursday.

Murao is a 4-Star offensive tackle. He is a product of a Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California,. He was notified of his offer via a phone call from the Tide.

“It is incredible,” Murao said. “They are the best program in college football, so it means a lot.”

18 Division 1 schools have offered Murao. Georgia, Auburn, Alabama and UCLA are his four most recent offers.

The Tide has stepped into California and pulled out some impressive lineman in the past. Jonah Williams is a name that jumps out to many Tide fans, but Alabama’s most recent offensive lineman out of California is Murao’s former teammate, Tommy Brown.

Brown congratulated Murao on his offer via Twitter.

Murao said he feels Alabama’s development of offensive lineman has him considering them.

“I think they put out great offensive lineman, so it is somewhere, I am definitely considering,” Murao said. With Tommy being there, he will be a familiar face if i do end up there”

Mater Dei lined up Murao at the offensive tackle position for most of his junior season. He has experience at pull blocking and knows how to use his size to over power defensive players. He has no visit plans set at the moment.

Alabama does not have a offensive lineman commit in their 2020 recruiting class. Their 2019 haul included five offensive linemen, who were all ranked 4-Stars or higher.
