Latrell McCutchin announced his verbal commitment to Alabama on Monday, becoming the first member of the Tide’s 2021 class.

McCutchin is a 4-star defensive back out of Austin, Texas,. He holds offers from the likes of Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Baylor.
The Tide hosted the Texas product this past weekend.
The 4-Star recruit weighs in at 176 pounds and stands at 6-1. He has great reaction speed and is comfortable playing bump and run coverage as well as sitting back in the zone.
Alabama has opened their 2021 recruiting class, similar to the way they open their 2020 class by acquiring a defensive back. More good news could be headed Alabama’s way with some more 2021 targets expected to visit this summer.
