New injuries to LBs, Alabama debuts its base defensive alignment

It was humid on Tuesday with the temperature at 91 degrees, but the Alabama Crimson Tide was at Thomas Drew Field for its 17th fall camp session. The team continues to work towards its week one matchup against the Duke Blue Devils inside Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga., which is set for Saturday, Aug. 31.

Alabama saw members of its defensive line return to the first unit full-time, as well as new injuries to its inside linebackers.

Below are some observations from today’s practice:
