To follow an All-American, Butkus Award-winning, national championship linebacker is already hard enough, but when the person you’re following is a relative and you enroll as a “preferred” walk-on – the stakes instantly become much larger.

C.J. Mosley will always be a fan favorite.

He was among the leaders in tackles for two BCS national title teams in 2011 and 2012, while anchoring the Crimson Tide in that department in 2012 and 2013. Molsey’s instincts against the run and in coverage led to him being an All-SEC selection (2012-13), an All-American selection (2012-13), and a first-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
