Larry’s Losers in the SEC – Championship 2017 Edition

Well sports fans, here we are at the end of the season and as we perfectly predicted, the two teams grunting it out for the last game of the season are the two SEC teams. Once again the road to the championship goes through the SEC and this time it’s a non fail for the footballers from the king conference of the contenders.

 

But which team will tally the tribute and which will lament in being the last loser? That is the question.

 

But don’t fret my friendly football forecasting family, Old Bacardi the Wonder Dog and I have one more prognostication to pull out and we’re about to tell all now.

 

Alabama vs Georgia – The tusked ones from Tuscaloosa amble over to Atlanta to try and kick Kirby’s Canines to the curb and take home the trophy for the triumph in the biggest game of the year.

 

But after offing the Okies, these dastardly dogs think they can handle the high Tide that these crimson clad ballers will bring to the game.

 

But in the big boy ball games, it’s defense that wins it all and as we saw last week Georgia doesn’t have one that can stop a Sooner, so we’re going to assume that when these Elephants stampede, these Dogs will scurry for the sidelines.

 

That leaves one team in the center, front and center that is and one team pushed to the side to be the last on the list of Larry’s Losers for the 2017 season and that loser is Georgia.

 

Folks, the pigskin pickin’ pooch and I have enjoyed this, our 16th season listing the losers for you in lots of publications, boards and venues. I’ll be watching this game from Cape Horn on the Emerald Princess between South America and Antarctica. We watched the semi finals in Buenos Aires, Argentina and in local time, that game ended at 2:30am.

 

After a grueling season, Mrs. Prognosticator insisted we take a long vacation, so we’re skipping winter with just over a month in summery South America where the seasons are opposite.

 

So while the season may be over now, the articles and football news will continue and we’ll see you back here for more of the list of likely losers next season.
