In a one-month period, Reuben Foster has twice seen himself behind bars in both California and Alabama.

A late first-round pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, the inside linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers was arrested on Sunday morning on charges of domestic violence, threats and possession of an assault weapon, according to a report from the San Francisco Chronicle

Despite being released on a $75,000 bond, it would the second time Foster has been finger printed this year. He was booked via the Tuscaloosa County Police Department back on Jan. 12 on second-degree marijuana charges, which is consider a Class A misdemeanor in Alabama.

On the field, Foster totaled 72 tackles last season.

He was able to post solid numbers, even though he missed five games because of a high ankle sprain and another matchup due to back spasms. Foster was the National Football League’s Rookie of the Month in November, following his output of 30 tackles.

Per the report, Foster’s accuser was a woman who was in a long-term relationship with him and the officers in the investigation found something in the home that looked like an assault rifle.

Concerns about Foster’s character started during last year’s NFL Combine process, as he would be sent home due to an altercation with a hospital worker. Also, there was the water diluted sample he had that was initially thought to be drug related. Before all of this, the 2016 Butkus Award winner (goes to college football’s top linebacker) was the University of Alabama’s heart and soul on defense, totaling 115 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and five sacks through 15 games.
