He is having fun this season, but the party isn’t over for Jerry Jeudy.
The sophomore wide receiver and Florida native must have taken quite the offense, upon seeing the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation not list a single University of Alabama receiver for the preseason Fred Biletnikoff watch list.
In changing the organization’s attitude, Jeudy has placed the college football world on alert in the first four games with marquee receptions.
He has caught at least one touchdown pass in three of four matchups, while recording his best performance in the Crimson Tide’s conference opener against Mississippi. The five-star scorched Ole Miss’ secondary for a career-high 136 receiving yards and two scores on three catches.
His averages of 21.5 yards a catch and 91.3 yards a game drew attention from the Tallahassee Quarterback Club to add him as a candidate for the Biletnikoff honor on Tuesday, according to an announcement from the organization.
As we are through one quarter of the Alabama football season, Jeudy has been credited with 365 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 17 catches.

At the rate he is going, he could possibly surpass Amari Cooper’s single-season mark with the Tide from 2014. That year, the former All-American turned in 124 catches for 1,726 yards with 16 touchdowns – en route to winning the Biletnikoff Award and becoming a first-round pick.
Jeudy will look to pad his numbers this weekend against Louisiana
