Clemson’s quarterback Trevor Lawrence got the best of him on last week; however, Tua Tagovailoa will have another chance to avenge himself against the Tigers.
After leaving California in defeat and returning to Alabama, the rising junior signal caller is already vowing a return to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
He had a monster sophomore season and one that witnessed him become the fourth 3,000-yard passer under Nick Saban (3,966), a Heisman Trophy finalist and a consensus All-American.
Tagovailoa set a multitude of school records in 2018 – including most passing yards in a single-season and most touchdown responsible for in a season (48). With all of his receivers returning and more offensive talent coming in, the native Hawaiian is not going away any time soon.
