Alabama 2020 defensive commits: Malachi Moore, Chris Braswell, William Anderson, Brian Branch, Quandarrius Robinson, Jayson Elijah Jones, Demouy Kennedy, and Javier Morton, were all named to the 2019 Adidas and Maxwell football defensive player of the year watch list.
This award is giving annually to best senior high school defensive player in the nation. The Tide’s 2020 recruiting class is currently represented by their eight commits on this list, but there are plenty of Alabama targets included on this list as well. Tide targets, Phillip Webb, Reggie Grimes, Sav’ell Smalls, Jordan Banks and Noah Sewell, were also named to the watch list.
Alabama’s 2020 recruiting class is currently made up of 14 defensive recruits. Five of them are defensive backs, four are linebackers and five are defensive linemen. The defense is expected to make up most of Alabama’s 2020 class as they still have space left.
ALABAMA’S FULL 2020 CLASS
Alabama’s offense and defensive haul were almost even in the 2019 recruiting cycle as the Tide landed 14 defensive players and 13 offensive players.
All of Alabama’s 2020 commits are now turning their attention to their senior season as many have started or will start fall camp soon.
