Alabama defensive back DeMarcco Hellams received the phone call that changed his life on Saturday as he was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL Draft.
The Falcons gave fans an inside look at Hellams’ reaction to the phone call as the team shared the moment on social media.

After spending four years with the Crimson Tide, Hellams was selected with pick No. 224 of the seventh round by the Falcons.
