The head coach of Crimson Tide football for 17 years has embarked on something new. He enjoyed coaching, but he knows the profession stems from teaching. Saban has a huge heart for educators and youth, and he desires for Tuscaloosa (Ala.) to have the best in both. He and his wife, Terry Saban, have been firm on calling Tuscaloosa home and they are promoting the Saban Center that will revolutionize education for teachers and students. The Saban Center will bring education and preparing Alabamians for the workforce together. It will be a one-of-kind campus that houses a Tuscaloosa children’s theatre, ignite the children’s hands on museum, and the state of Alabama stem hub. The center will create opportunities for teachers and students in the Tuscaloosa area and beyond. The Saban’s have enjoyed giving back to Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas since arriving in 2007 from the NFL.

He may not be wearing a straw hat, blowing a whistle, and coaching anymore, but Nick Saban is still making a difference and impacting the lives of those he cares about in the community.
