Henry Ruggs III absolutely has undeniable, world-class speed. Fastest wide reciever in all of college football? Yes. Fastest player in the nation regardless of position? Yes. Ruggs ran a 4.25 at the University of Alabama's Junior Pro Day, and thought he'd ran a bad time. So, the question worth asking, is will Henry Ruggs III take home the $1,000,000 prize for breaking the NFL Combine record for the 40 yard dash in 2020? If I were a gambling man, I'd bet the house on Ruggs to go  4.19 seconds and smash the current record of 4.22 set by John Ross of Washington. What you think?

Today's installment of a question worth asking...is this the year Bama's defense evens things back up with the all-world Bama offense? What are your concerns on this year's defense?

Not as many as the past two years. 2015 & 16 were as good as we've had in a long time with 16 being absolutely scary. This year's team has potential to be very good, and that's all it needs to be with this offense. Last year we were just good, but not very good or even elite. I'd like to see a dominant pass rusher too step up.

I'm worried about the middle of the defense on all levels. We're replacing our break out interior defensive lineman as well as our secondary outside of Shyheim and we don't have favorable depth at ILB. Do I think these are things we can address with help and disguise? Yes, absolutely, but it's something that is definitely on my radar between now and September.

Williams was a hoss, but a Nick Saban defense doesn't need a top 3 player(s) in the middle. Just needs very serviceable guys who can play the run and provide just a little pressure on pass rusher situations. We always fare better when we have strong corner guys which we will this year. I like where we are up the middle and we'll get better after fall camp.

We most def need the secondary to hold coverage.

But an old school Nick Saban D needs some guys to get after the QB.

Who is going to step up and be able to make those game changing moments.

Fumbles, strips, batted balls, big man interceptions?
