Larry’s losers in the SEC – Week 10 – 2020

Welcome back sports fans, last week we had ’em all right except Auburn who didn’t take the directed dive into despair that we derived. So all in all, it was a pretty good week of pigskin predicting.

Now this week has some worrisome warfares because this season you never can tell just how ready each team is to the task at hand. The upset bug is bulging with all the blood he’s sucked out of the SEC.

And since the “World’s largest cocktail party” won’t be the same without all the partiers, we might as well just call it the world’s largest covid party. But don’t get me started on that, because we’re at least getting to see some football and that’s sure better than the alternative.

Now, on to listing the losers…

Florida at Georgia – When the sizeable Salamanders slide into Sanford Stadium on Saturday, they plan on leaving with the SEC East leadership drapped around their shoulderless physique.

But Kirby’s Canines plan on showing them what the gold standard of the SEC East is all about and why a bunch of laughable Lizards aren’t about to upset their plans at another shot at Bama in the SEC Championship Game.

This is one we could see go either way, but since we can’t pick a tie, we’ll go with the team with the best defense and the home field advantage. In one scary pick, we’re going with the team with the most clichés. Larry’s loser – Florida

Vanderbilt at Mississippi State – The Commodores send another ship South to sail to Starkvegas to take on Mike’s Mutts in today’s futility fiasco. I say that ‘cuz both teams have been stinking it up like a skunk lately and nobody hardly cares how this one fares.

Fortunately for these unfortunate footballers, somebody’s gotta win and Lord knows both of them could use one at this point in the season.

I really like Derek Mason, he’s a cool guy and tells some funny stories and I’d like to see him break through this weekend, but then I’d also like to win the lottery and live it up too, but neither seems likely this weekend. Larry’s loser – Vanderbilt

Texas A&M at South Carolina – The farm boys from Texas get to board a shiny new airplane this week and fly over to the Coop in Carolina and try and pluck the cluckers in their own backyard.

Now the old Chicken wrangler, Coach Muschamp has had a tough season so far and a big win here against a ranked team would really help his own neck stay off the chopping block as his seat has been getting hotter than one of Col. Sanders steamers.

But Jimbo’s been getting his farm hands on the same page lately and they’re plenty good at plowing players under just like turning the fields, so he’s counting on another bushel basket of full of winning plays, ’cause if there’s anything a good Aggie knows how to do, it’s wring the neck of a Chicken. Larry’s loser – South Carolina

Tennessee at Arkansas – The boys from the Tennessee hills travel over to Arkansas to make sure that at least these Pigs don’t fly, or should I say fly away with another SEC win this season.

While Tennessee may be sporting the same record as the real McCoy Pigskins, they just haven’t looked as good doing it and they know that three of their next four games are gonna be bruisers and this may be the best chance for another win besides battling their little brothers, Vandy, a little later.

So Pruitt’s pupils in Orange are gonna give it their all and try and save some face this season, but Pruitt’s Piggies aren’t gonna let that happen and when all the rooting, tusking, and biting is over in this one, this is gonna be one Wild Boar hunting trip these Vols are gonna wish they could have avoided. Larry’s loser – Tennessee

You just never know when Tennessee is going to be good or bad!

Well that all the listing for this week of losers. With just four games to gander there’s not a lot to choose from, but there’s still some interesting games in the lineup.

But don’t worry, next week we have another full lineup of likely losers and they’ll be some close games sprinkled in, so keep that in mind while so many teams are taking time off this weekend.

Till then, go get your turkey, find some cranberry sauce if you still can and start getting ready for the great weekend when we can all over eat, over watch football and smile all weekend long.
