Former All-American for Alabama loves Terrion Arnold's 'Monopoly' mentality for the Crimson Tide

He is focused on helping Alabama football win a College Football Playoff National Championship, but Terrion Arnold has an NFL Draft decision to make after this season.

Arnold has been the most improved player on the team, leading the Crimson Tide's defense for pass breakups (nine) and interceptions (three). A native Floridian, the former five-star recorded back-to-back interceptions versus Louisiana State University and Kentucky in Southeastern Conference matchups. He described the mentality of Alabama's defense in Tuesday's segment on the Paul Finebaum Show. The Tide has had the statement, "We are playing chess while they are playing checkers," however, Arnold has taken it a step further. Ha'Sean "Ha Ha" Clinton-Dix, a former All-American safety for the Tide, loved what Arnold said about the Crimson Tide. Clinton-Dix is now the Director of Player Development for the University of Alabama.

Arnold explained to Finebaum after Alabama is done playing chess games with its opponents, it controls everything like Monopoly.

The Tide's defense has shut opponents down in the second half of games this season.

Mississippi, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and LSU could not accomplish anything against Alabama in the second half. Kentucky scored 14 points in the second half, but it came after being in a 21-point hole (7-28) at halftime. Arnold and the Tide have an opportunity to run through Chattanooga and Auburn before facing Georgia for an SEC Championship matchup.
