While I have my opinion and you can see it here, I wonder what you think is the Tide's weakest link headed into the season and thanks for your response.

Lance Shirley The weakest link is the defense, until they prove otherwise.

Brad Tisdale of SEC Football & Smack said: Dear God Larry. It never stops.

Your defense will stink. Your secondary, and most importantly your DB scheme is so bad, outdated it's a joke.

And as long as Saban refuses to adapt, plants an overload. It a centerfielder, your defense will give up 40 to 50 points a game to any RPO. And everyone you play is playing it now.

It's a weakness you will never overcome.

I'm laughing thinking about the mismatches.

Bama is the most overrated
team in college football.
The head coach has no clue how to stop a 5 WR set. Or a vertical RPO. The DC is high school material and that secondary might be the worst in Sabans tenure.

And Tua and Jeudy wont be bailing you out this year.

3 losses.

What's really funny, you don"t see it.

We do.

And we will expose your beloved Gumps (again) soon enough

@ Brad & Smack...I’m seeing a couple things you mentioned as

being kinda correct.   yes, the secondary is young as well as youth

at some starting positions.   the only glaring weakness from last

couple years I saw was very poor tackling and a willingness to play

patty-cake til the whistle blows.   Those can and should be corrected

and if a good pass rush develops then your 7/3 prediction is laughable.

@hoss Good points, while the secondary has such great athletes with such high ceilings, that doesn't mean anything until they're really tested... I just hope they live up to their billing...

IMO it's the TE. They're serviceable, but not a great pass catcher or blocker. Definitely not one who can do both.
