Not much was seen in practice, following Alabama's win over the Citadel, but it was good to spot offensive linemen Deonte Brown (toe) and Alex Leatherwood (ankle) along with Deionte Thompson (knee) back at work. Brown took reps with the first-team group, while Leatherwood was spotted in drills with the second team.

Nick Saban mentioned in Monday's presser that all three would practice today, despite stating how the possibility of Leatherwood being held out was high.

Running back Damien Harris (concussion) was not at practice. He will continue to be in concussion protocol, until he is cleared for action. Alabama will dive into more of its scout team look on Tuesday and Wednesday to prepare for Auburn; however, I did see one outside linebacker wear No. 3.

He represents Tigers' defensive lineman, Marlon Davidson. Davidson has 4.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and a team-high 10 quarterback pressures, to pair with 43 tackles in 11 games.

I'll be curious to see how Alabama's offensive line responds this week after the struggles against Mississippi State. While a lot can still change, all signs point to another rematch with Clemson in the Playoff. This weekend's matchup against Auburn will go a long way in determining how much Alabama needs to improve up front.

Deonte Brown's return will be huge.

Moved very well. Just had a bruised knee. High-pointed pass well.

Having Deonte Brown back is MAJOR. He practiced with the first-team on Monday and looks 100 percent from the turf toe. Alex Leatherwood, of whom Nick Saban said he would hold out of practice for at least one day, got in reps with the second team unit.

Stephen. How did Deionte look? His experience will be vital for us going into the SEC Championship game.

Thompson moved very well. Just a bruised knee. Was able to high-point passes in practice.
