Alabama's 2021 recruiting class currently sits at 21 verbal commits, so who will be next to commit to the Tide?

There are a couple of names to know for the next couple of weeks. I would put 4-Star defensive lineman, Shambre Jackson, at the top of this list. The Orlando, Florida product has not announced a commitment date yet, but has expressed he wants to commit soon. Nick Saban and Alabama's staff has been recruiting Jackson for more than a year now and he has remained heavily interested. The Crimson Tide's NFL production really stand out to Jackson. Multiple Alabama coaches are also in contact with the 4-Star prospet. At the moment, it looks as if Alabama is in the best postion with Jackson when it comes to recruits, who could pop soon.

Outside of Jackson, there are three Alabama targets with commitment dates coming up.

They are:

4-Star ATH, Tysheem Johnson / Sept 30

Johnson has the Tide listed in his final school list and the Tide will most likley play him at running back if he was to commit to them. Alabama has quite a few running back targets on their recruiting board at the moment, including 5-Star running back, Camar Wheaton. Alabama is in the mix for Johnson, but it is unclear how serious of a contender they are.

4-Star DE, Khristian Zachary / Oct. 15

Zachary is in contact with multiple Alabama coaches, including Nick Saban. Alabama is still considered a serious contender heading into his October decision. The Crimson Tide could add two defensive ends to their 2021 recruiting class with the limited space they have.

5-Star OL, Aarius Mims / Oct. 15

Mims is one of Alabama's top overall targets in the 2021 recruiting class. For the longest of times, Mims' recruitment looked like an Alabama and Gerogia battle, but Tennessee is continuing to make noise as they have been lurking a couple of steps behind the Bulldogs and the Tide for months now.
