Prior to Alabama football having its fourth practice of fall camp on today (Saturday), multiple sources shared information with yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine from Thursday's session.

Here are the notes.

-He is coming off a hip flexor from last season, but Will Reichard has looked good in camp. Per one source, the sophomore is one 'heck of a kicker' and he's now locked in mentally to his job.

-One of the freshmen on defense who continues to impress is five-star OLB, William Anderson. He is going to be involved in the aggressive nickel and dime packages for the Crimson Tide.

-While junior CB Patrick Surtain II and defensive coordinator Pete Golding mentioned Ronald Williams Jr. having a big opportunity in the secondary, keep your eyes on freshman Brian Branch.

-The native Georgian is seriously in the competition at "star" (nickel) with Williams and Jalyn Armour-Davis.

-Alabama signed three talented freshmen running backs, but Roydell Williams is the 'most physically ready to play' -- according to another source.

-The No. 3 receiving option behind Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle could be a committee of players.

-People are high on John Metchie, but Slade Bolden continues to impress. "If he (Bolden) was on any other team, he would be a starter." - One source said.

-Along with Bolden, watch Xavier Williams too.

-The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder from Hollywood, Florida has great hands and loves to take defensive backs on deep routes.

-Per sources, the redshirt sophomore 'gets open a lot and easily' on deep ball patterns.

-The last name to look at for the receiver position is Javon Baker.

-He has done something different at each practice, and the coaching staff likes what he brings as a true freshman.

-In terms of the wide receiver room as a whole, one source said even when Waddle and Smith leave... Alabama 'won't have a huge drop off.'

-The Tide will look at having Bolden, Williams, Metchie, Baker, Traeshon Holden and Thaiu Jones-Bell among others in 2021.

Im hoping the OL will be much improved and physically stronger than

last year.   Mac seems capable and experienced but Tua took a beating last year and couldn’t finish the season.   overall team strength and

physiacality was exposed via LSU,MISS STATE,AUBURN.   not forgetting the dearth of injuries but a shake-up (cochrane) was needed and CNS

provided it. a pronounced run game this year will help Mac and all receivers.   a knock-em in the dirt attitude on Defense ( coach Roach )?

combined with much better tackling ( no grabbing ) and greater

strength & conditioning will pay  dividends l  rtr
