Alabama is losing an athlete that was responsible for recruiting its 2019 class.

According to sources, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine has learned that Pierce Quick has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. The news comes on the heels of the Crimson Tide defeating Auburn, 24-22, at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Quick was a four-star offensive lineman from Trussville, Ala.

After a great career at Hewitt-Trussville High School, he followed Paul Tyson to the University of Alabama. The 6-foot-5, 306-pounder was one of the top offensive linemen in the nation, but he’s played in eight career games. He saw action in one matchup this season. Quick was the first athlete to commit in Alabama’s 2019 class. Now, he is looking for an opportunity to be an impact player.
