It is currently in its eighth fall practice, but the University of Alabama football program is preparing to start the 2020 college football season on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide will travel to face the Missouri Tigers to begin its 10-game, conference-only schedule.
While the Coronavirus pandemic forced this new look upon the sport, fans of the venue are just excited to see college football happening.
According to ESPN, its football power index (FPI) projected the number of wins each school in the SEC West will obtain.
When it comes to Alabama, it drew the most victories with nine for the regular season.

Despite it having the most, the question is where could the lone blemish come from?
Although many thought the Tide would draw Georgia as its season opener, Alabama got a scheduling break.
After Missouri, it faces Texas A&M and OIe Miss before the Bulldogs come to Bryant-Denny Stadium in week four. It has Tennessee and Mississippi State and after its bye week on November 7, Alabama has a run of LSU, Kentucky, Auburn and Arkansas to end the regular season. Coach Saban wanted a tougher schedule and the SEC honored his request.
With both experience and talent on the roster, this year’s Tide team has its eyes locked on a national championship.

Should players remain healthy, it will be difficult for anyone to topple Alabama.
