Fans of the University of Alabama football program showed tremendous support for new Crimson Tide head coach, Kalen DeBoer, and the student-athletes during the A-Day Game on April 15.

After experiencing 17 incredible years with Nick Saban, excitement filled Bryant-Denny Stadium as people wanted to check out the new edition of Alabama football. ESPN had the call on the exhibition, and the Tide had 72,000 show up and show out.

According to USA Today, Alabama had the second-highest spring game attendance in the nation.

Ohio State was the lone institution that had more fans at its spring matchup than Alabama (80,000).

Coach DeBoer had the Crimson Tide with more supporters than Penn State (67,000), South Carolina (62,000), Nebraska (60,000), Georgia (55,000), Florida (48,000), Clemson (47,000), Oklahoma (45,000), and Oregon (40,000).

Tide fans watched good things from the quarterback room, explosive plays from running backs, Germie Bernard show out at receiver, and depth standout on defense.

Alabama looks to use its momentum from spring practice to push it through summer workouts and fall camp.

DeBoer wants to help the Tide end a three-year national championship drought.
