Jalen Milroe is more than serious about showing the college football world he is a complete quarterback.

He returns to the University of Alabama after being a first-year starter in 2023.

Milroe guided the Crimson Tide to dethroning a two-time defending College Football Playoff National Champion in a Southeastern Conference title game. He got the Tide back to the CFP and finished the season with 2,834 passing yards and 35 total touchdowns — earning permanent team captain honors. Milroe, a redshirt junior, has worked tirelessly this offseason on his passing mechanics — training with guys such as Yo Murphy and Jordan Palmer. A native of Katy, Texas, Milroe is one of the best quarterbacks returning to college football in the fall.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder received an incredible opportunity Friday per Garland Gillen of Fox 8.

Milroe has been invited to compete at the Manning Passing Academy in Thibodaux (La.) from June 26 to June 30. He gets a chance to work with football royalty in Archie, Peyton, and Eli Manning to be dynamic in the coming fall.

AJ McCarron, Jalen Hurts, and Bryce Young are three former Tide standouts that competed at MPA.

McCarron was a two-time national champion as a starter for Alabama in 2011 and 2012.

Hurts helped the Tide to two SEC Championships in 2016 and 2018 and a CFP National Championship in 2017. Young became the school’s first quarterback to win the Heisman Memorial Trophy in 2021. He guided Alabama to an SEC Championship in 2021 and became the No. 1 overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft.

We will see how Milroe uses MPA to groom him for the coming season.
