Jeremiah Alexander
Strengths: Plays with Violence, Has high I.Q., Possesses impressive strength, Versatility
Weaknesses: Pass Coverage
Evaluation: Alexander has one of the most unique skill sets and frames at 6-foot-2 and 235 pounds. He could be an edge rusher at the next level or play inside linebacker. He plays with a violent streak and is one of the strongest players in the 2022 recruiting class. He can power through block attempts from offensive lineman and running backs. He explodes off of the edge. Alexander is also an aggressive and effective tackler. He makes hits with great force, brings his arms and wraps up ball carriers. He is also good in space and it is difficult to get around him in the open field. He breaks down and closes on the football with quickness. He is not the smoothest pass defender, which is something he will have to improve on when called on to drop in coverage as an outside linebacker and when playing standing up at inside linebacker. He has shown improvement in this area during his senior season.
