Alabama’s 2015 A-Day roster released

Saturday’s weather forecast predicts a 60 percent chance of rain, but it won’t hinder Alabama’s head coach Nick Saban from having his players compete in the program’s annual spring game. Saban released the rosters for both Crimson and White teams today, courtesy of 247 sports and al.com.

Alabama will be without 10 players in Saturday’s contest. Cornerback Cyrus Jones (hip) and linebacker Denzel Devall (leg) missed all spring due to injuries. Linebacker Ryan Anderson has an ankle injury, while defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson is nursing knee and ankle issues. Running back Bo Scarbrough and wide receiver Cam Sims both tore their ACLs earlier this spring.

Head coach Nick Saban wants to be cautious with running back Buddy Pell, offensive lineman Brandon Kennedy, defensive end Jonathan Allen and safety Laurence “Hootie” Jones. Jones’s injury was the lone one Saban provided of the four, but there is a good chance that all four won’t participate Saturday.
