Nick Saban and the rest of the Alabama Crimson Tide nation received good news when the son of former NFL All-Pro Keyshawn Johnson announced the Tide were in his final eight schools.
Keyshawn Johnson Jr., like his father is a wide receiver for Calabasas High School in Mission Viejo, Ca. The 6-foot-1 180 pound junior received an offer from Alabama this past spring and nothing would make Saban happier to have a player of Johnson’s caliber and pedigree as a member of his program.
Johnson received numerous offers from many programs across the country, but only eight teams will vie for the services of this coveted receiver. In addition to Alabama, Arizona St., Clemson, Nebraska, Ohio St., Ole Miss, UCLA, and USC made the final list.
It doesn’t appear that Johnson is in too big of a rush to make a decision as he plans to wait until before his senior year to make a decision.
