Last season the Green Bay Packers fell one game short of playing in the Super Bowl. This season with a well balanced team, the Packers will look to bring the Vince Lombardi trophy back home.
One of the biggest factors for the Packers recent string of success has been a solid rushing attack. Their leading rusher for the past two season has been former Alabama running back Eddie Lacy.
Lacy has rushed for over 1,000 yards in both of his seasons in Green Bay, and was named the Rookie of the Year in 2013. This year Lacy comes into training camp four pounds heavier and the now 234 pound running back is ready to extend his success into the 2015 season.
On Monday Lacy found a gap on the right side of the line in a team drill period of practice, and then did the same thing behind a great block in the red-zone period of practice. Runs like that have made Lacy into one of the most feared rushers in the NFL.
