Ex-Alabama safety Vinnie Sunseri made one play Friday, but it was enough to get the attention of New Orleans head coach Sean Payton.

According to Jeff Duncan of nola.com., the Saints had a Black and Gold scrimmage game Friday morning at the Greenbrier Resort and Spa in White Sulphur Springs, W. Va.

Sunseri intercepted a pass off backup quarterback Garrett Grayson late in the scrimmage. The pass was intended for tight end Orson Charles.

Sunseri totaled 105 tackles, seven tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and four interceptions in his career at Alabama (2011-13).
