Alabama’s senior quarterback Jake Coker was absent in the team’s 13th practice session Monday morning and the media finally knows why. Head coach Nick Saban released a statement via UA stating that Coker has sustained a minor foot injury.
He will miss several days of practice, yet Alabama’s medical staff expects a full recovery.
Coker was splitting reps with junior Alec Morris in the program’s first full week of fall practice. Saban didn’t release any details on how the mishap occurred.
