Former Alabama standouts Javier Arenas, Marcell Dareus, Michael Williams, Kevin Norwood and Jesse Williams all suited up for week two of preseason play.
Arenas, who was acquired by the New York Jets (1-1) on Aug. 11, had a solid performance against Atlanta in a 30-22 victory for the Jets. He finished fourth on the team in tackles (3).
Dareus set the tone defensively for Buffalo against Cleveland. The fifth-year defensive tackle led the team with four stops and a sack. Buffalo (1-1) emerged victorious by a score of 11-10.
Norwood was targeted twice Friday night, making one reception for 11 yards.
Williams did play for the Seahawks; however, he didn’t register any stats.
Seattle fell to Kansas City 14-13 and starts the preseason 0-2.
