Week five was special for Alabama football, as it handled Georgia 38-10 on a soaked field in Athens, Ga. The Crimson Tide was ranked 13th nationally, but after its victory and mishaps from four other programs (Notre Dame, Ole Miss, UCLA, Georgia), Alabama was bumped to No. 8.

Crimson Tide’s head coach Nick Saban and company are back in the national title picture and remain in control of its destiny within the Southeastern Conference. Alabama faces Arkansas next Saturday for homecoming at Bryant-Denny Stadium. ESPN will air the game at 6 p.m. CT.
