A love and adoration was felt for Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, Eddie Lacy and T.J. Yeldon, but now Derrick Henry feels too. The junior ran with purpose for Alabama against Texas A&M.
Henry set a career-high in rushing with 147 yards and three touchdowns against Wisconsin. He achieved a new mark at Kyle Field, totaling 236 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries. He averaged 7.4 yards per carry and scored on runs of 55 and six yards.
Henry’s 236-yard performance was the first time this season that he has totaled 200+ yards rushing. His streak of rushing touchdowns in consecutive games continues, as Henry now has gone 12 straight games with a least one score. He has 12 rushing touchdowns on the year.
