Another former Alabama star returns to the Southeast region.
Linebacker Courtney Upshaw was one of the top unrestricted free agents to start the offseason. The ex-Baltimore Raven visited with the New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons, before signing a one-year contract with Atlanta according to ESPN’s Vaughn McClure and ESPN’s NFL Insider Ian Rapoport.

Upshaw was taken in the second round (35th pick) of the 2012 NFL Draft. He totaled 183 tackles, five sacks, four forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries in five season at Baltimore.
