The long awaited Alabama A-Day date and time has been set.
The 2016 A-Day game is scheduled to begin on April 16th at 2 p.m. at Bryant-Denny Stadium, with ESPN airing it live.
With the team coming off of a national championship win, all eyes will be on the players and coaching staff as they take the field in three weeks.
A short hype video was released by Alabama Football’s twitter today to get fans excited for the upcoming game.

There will be a lot of new faces at A-Day including the new defensive coordinator, Jeremy Pruitt. Pruitt replaced Kirby Smart, who had been with the Tide for nine seasons.
The departure of senior Jacob Coker leaves the quarterback position wide open. Those vying for the job include redshirt junior Cooper Bateman, redshirt freshman Blake Barnett, redshirt sophomore David Cornwell and true freshman Jalen Hurts.
The Tide’s offense also lost the nation’s top running back and Heisman trophy winner in Derrick Henry, and the nation’s top center in Ryan Kelly. Bo Scarbrough or Damien Harris are the hopefuls to fill the RB slot. Ross Pierschbacher and J.C. Hassenauer are scheduled to take the field in center position.
The defense should still be strong with nearly all of the front seven returning for the 2016 season, except for A’Shawn Robinson, D.J. Pettway and Jarran Reed.
Reuben Foster looks like he may try to fill the shoes of the former defensive leader, Reggie Ragland. Foster has been seen mentoring Rashaan Evans, who could step up to play middle linebacker as well as outside linebacker.
Admission to A-Day is free and could be just what fans who are feeling football withdrawals need, until the 2016 season begins on September 3rd.
