Two talented running backs shared Alabama’s backfield last season and despite Derrick Henry gaining much of the NFL Draft attention, Bleacher Report has one message on Kenyan Drake…”Don’t sleep on him.”

The former Crimson Tide standout accounted for one of the team’s 10 non-offensive touchdowns in 2015.
He returned a 95-yard kickoff for a touchdown in the fourth quarter against Clemson in the 2016 College Football Playoff national title game, helping Alabama secure a 45-40 win.
Drake’s rare combination of hands, vision, footwork and acceleration pushed him to total 1,189 all-purpose yards with 22 touchdowns in his career.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pound back recorded strong numbers at the NFL Scouting Combine, posting an unofficial time of 4.36 seconds (4.45 seconds) in the 40-yard dash. Drake’s time of 7.04 seconds in the 3-cone drill and 4.21 seconds in the 20-yard shuttle were among the fastest at the combine.
Multiple NFL teams need a versatile back and with Drake being a day two pick, he will have an opportunity to be very special at the next level.
