The Cowboys have the fourth pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, but will it select a former Alabama standout?
Defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson, 6-foot-4 and 307 pounds, is scheduled to visit the Cowboys on Friday for Dallas Day, according to NFL writer Charean Williams (Fort Worth Star-Telegram).
Robinson is a native of Fort Worth, Texas, who attended and played high school football at Arlington Heights.

He was one of two intense leaders (Jarran Reed) on Alabama’s defense last season, guiding the unit to a national championship. Robinson totaled 46 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, two pass breakups, a team-high 10 quarterback hurries and a blocked field goal during the 2015 season.
The 2015 Outland Trophy finalist is widely-regarded as the No.1 defensive tackle prospect in this year’s draft class. He is projected to be taken in the first round, despite rumors questioning his value.
