The ex-Alabama standout and first round selection picked up where he left off a year ago.
With multiple Crimson Tide alums on the field for Oakland’s match-up against Tennessee, wide receiver Amari Cooper did his part to make a firm impression. He recorded three catches for 52 yards, including a 29-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter from Derek Carr.

The AC/DC connection proved to be prolific in 2015, as Cooper totaled 1,070 receiving yards and six touchdown on 72 catches. He became the first rookie in Raiders’ history to total 1,000 yards in a single season and the first receiver since Randy Moss (2005) to post a 1,000-yard season.
Despite a 27-14 loss, much is expected from Oakland this season.
