Coach John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens aren’t a sexy 3-0 team, but a win is a win. While its offense has struggled with consistency, inside linebacker C.J. Mosley has its defense in midseason form.
The former Alabama standout finished with six total tackles, including five solo stops in Sunday’s 19-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He defended two passes in coverage, with one resulting in an interception in the first quarter. Mosley anchored a front that forced three turnovers and four sacks.
He helped limit Jacksonville’s offense (216 yards), which led to Ravens’ kicker Justin Tucker nailing a 54-yard field goal with 1:04 left in regulation to win the game. Mosley now has eight total tackles and an interception after three games. He and Baltimore will host the Oakland Raiders (2-1) next week.
