TUSCALOOSA—Being motivated and giving the opponent too much ammunition are two different things.
Louisiana State University will soon discover whether it’s prepared to sink or swim, when Alabama strolls into Tiger Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 5 for an entertaining game. Tigers’ coach Ed Orgeron and defensive back Dwayne Thomas have done much talking this week, encouraging fans and boldly guaranteeing a win over the Crimson Tide. ArDarius Stewart, who’s the lead assassin in Alabama’s receiving corps, did not take too kindly of Thomas’ stating how LSU’s defense is going to “dominate Alabama’s offense” and how “this is LSU’s year.”
The 6-foot-1, 204-pound junior issued a statement on Twitter, making a smart retaliation to the defender that will be asked to guard him next week.

Stewart is second on the team in receptions (28), and has 472 yards with four touchdowns.
He assists a Tide’s offense that’s averaged 43.9 points and 498 total yards through eight games.
