TUSCALOOSA, Ala.– Former Alabama linebacker Adonis Thomas will return to a power five conference school. After spending this season at Northwest Mississippi Community College, he took to social media on Friday to express his appreciation to Florida State in having him commit.

Prior to taking the JUCO route, Thomas signed in Alabama’s 2015 recruiting class.
The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder was listed as a four-star prospect via 247Sports Composite. Thomas, a native of Lawrence, Ga., redshirted his freshman year in Tuscaloosa, while becoming a star at Northwest Mississippi.
He totaled 73 tackles, including 11.5 for loss and six sacks.
Thomas was a stud at Central Gwinnet High School, where he had 124 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and five sacks in his senior year. He led the Black Knights to a 7-5 record, reaching the second round of the playoffs.
