Hawaii’s greatest export has finished one of many decisions as an Alabama quarterback.
Five-star signal caller and top-ranked dual threat prospect Tua Tagovailoa (247Sports Composite) will don No. 13 for the 2017 college football season. The 2017 commit and January enrollee turned in 8,158 career passing yards and 84 touchdown passes during three years at St. Louis High School in Ewa Beach, Hawaii.

Former Tide wide receiver ArDarius Stewart wore No. 13 last season, as he accounted for 864 yards and eight touchdowns on 54 receptions. The 6-foot-1, 215-pounder totaled 1,727 rushing yards and 27 scores, while garnering honors as the 2016 Gatorade Player of the Year in Hawaii. Tagovailoa will compete against fellow freshman Mac Jones (four-star) and sophomore Jalen Hurts for the starting job next fall.
