Alabama’s prime time sack specialist isn’t playing around.
Despite entering an NFL Draft that boasts the likes of Myles Garrett, Daeshon Hall, Derek Barnett, Charles Harris and two of his former Crimson Tide teammates – Jonathan Allen and Ryan Anderson – outside linebacker Tim Williams believes he’s the best edge rusher in this class.
Im the best pass rusher in the draft Cant tell me nothing if you aint never put cleats on. I get my respect from ppl who did it before me💯💪🏾

To argue on the side of Williams, he was credited with 21.5 of Alabama’s 106 sacks (20.3 percent) in the last two seasons. The Baton Rouge, La., native finished second behind Allen in that department for 2015 and 2016, including 10.5 in the Tide’s 2015 national championship year.
He amassed 21 sacks and 30 tackles for loss in his four-year career, while clocking a solid 10-yard split time of 1.66 seconds at the NFL Scouting Combine. Though he was one of the most explosive and entertaining athletes in college football, it will be interesting to see which system sees Williams as an ideal fit.
He’s projected by most analysts to be selected in the second round.
