It has not been a fruitful draft process for Reuben Foster.
After being sent home from the NFL Scouting Combine in February for arguing with a hospital worker (medical test) and testing positive for a diluted sample, the former Alabama linebacker will not be invited to participate in the NFL Draft festivities — according to a report from ESPN.
Regardless of all the reports, Foster is still regarded as an early first round selection.
He became the fourth linebacker in Crimson Tide history to earn the Butkus Award, following a season in which he posted 115 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, five sacks and eight quarterback pressures in 2016.
As for the draft itself, round one starts Thursday from Philadelphia via ESPN.
