I’ve never met Nick Saban personally, but anyone who has met Saban would probably tell me he is a genius, and understands what it takes to achieve greatness.
Saban is not just a football coach, but he truly treats his players as if they were his children.
If anyone has never read, “The Management Ideas of Nick Saban: A Leadership Case Study of the Alabama Crimson Tide Football Head Coach”, I suggest you do.
The synopsis of this case study goes into depth about how Saban approaches life and how to overcome circumstances. It all starts with the mindset and the vision one has for what he or she wants to accomplish.
This is why Saban is a winner and has five national championships on his resume. He teaches his players that in order to win, you must strive for excellence and ask yourself, “What fuels you to get up in the morning?”
The former Miami Dolphins head coach wants all his players to know that being great is a never ending process. Trust the process and force yourself to grind hard even on days that your body and mind doesn’t feel like doing anything.
Ever since Saban has instilled this type of mentality in his players brains, he has been very successful as a head coach having an overall record of 205-61 in 43 years of his coaching career.
Saban will be entering his 44th year of coaching, and he has already set a school record with the Crimson Tide with 10 players being taken in the 2017 NFL Draft.
In his coaching career, Saban has been honored many times for his excellence that includes being named “National Coach of the Year” in 2003 and 2008, 4x SEC Coach of the Year (2003, 2008, 2009, 2016) and won the Paul “Bear” Bryant award in 2003.
What do you think Alabama fans? I want to hear your opinions.
