A dynamic duo makes a return to the golf course.
In honor of the Nick’s Kids Foundation and the University of Alabama, head football coach Nick Saban and former Crimson Tide running back Mark Ingram will be competing in the 11th annual Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl golf charity challenge at Reynolds Lake Oconee resort in Atlanta from May 1-3.
While this year’s prize is $630,000 split between both venues, the Chick-fil-A challenge has provided a total of $6 million in scholarships and charity over the past 10 years. With six Dodd trophy recipients, two Heisman Trophy winners, two members of the College Football Playoff selection committee and 10 national championships combined among coaches in attendance, Saban and Ingram will tee off against Georgia’s Kirby Smart, Clemson’s Dabo Swinney, Auburn’s Gus Malzahn, Steve Spurrier and Frank Beamer.
The tournament will be aired on ESPN in August and December.
