The month of May has been good to him thus far.
After the Green Bay Packers exercised the fifth-year option on his contract, free safety Ha’Sean “Ha Ha” Clinton-Dix earned a spot on the NFL’s Top 100 players of 2016 list. Following a season in which he recorded 80 tackles and a team-high five interceptions, the former University of Alabama standout landed at No. 77 on a list voted by the players and aired each Monday.

Clinton-Dix was also credited with a forced fumble and seven pass breakups in 2016, aiding Green Bay to a 10-6 record. He was awarded with his first trip to the NFL Pro Bowl and garnered honors as a second team All-Pro selection. Clinton-Dix was a three-year starter at Alabama under head coach Nick Saban, collecting 99 tackles, four tackles for loss, 10 pass breakups and six interceptions from 2011-13. He was a consensus All-American and first team All-SEC selection in 2013, while earning two BCS national championships in 2011 and 2013.
