He was the “pop” behind Alabama’s offense in the last two seasons, and despite him not being signed to a professional contract yet, wide receiver ArDarius Stewart landed his first endorsement deal on Wednesday.
As a third round pick — 79th overall — of the New York Jets during the NFL Draft, the Fultondale (Ala.) native inked a two-year contract with Nike per Everett Sports Marketing.

ESM has claimed quite a few Crimson Tide standouts, including Blake Sims, Gehrig Dieter, Dont’a Hightower and Jonathan Allen. Stewart led Alabama’s receiving corps in both yards (864) and touchdowns (eight) in 2016, while his output of 63 receptions for 700 yards and four touchdowns helped the Tide win a national championship in 2015. Stewart finished his career with 129 catches for 1,713 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns in his four-year tenure under head coach Nick Saban.
