Rolando McClain Reportedly Arrested

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Former All-American and first-round pick, linebacker Rolando McClain, has reportedly been arrested in Hartselle.

According to multiple reports, the charges he is facing include possesion of marijuana and a firearm.

McClain seemed to have had revitalized his career with the Dallas Cowboys in 2014 when he started 12 games and totaled 87 tackles. He was suspended four games last year after failing a drug test and never suited up in the Big D again.

As a part of Alabama’s 2009 National Championship team, Rolando made 105 tackles – 14.5 for a loss including 4.0 sacks – and two interceptions. In addition to leading the team in tackles, he was also the vocal leader on and off the field.

Tide fans wish the best for McClain, and hope he is able to turn his life around before it’s too late.
