Tide fans need to become familiar with this name next season.
He was regarded a four-star recruit out of St. John’s High School in Washington, D.C., however, Alabama outside linebacker Terrell Hall is a five-star talent. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 251 pounds, the sophomore is ready to pick up where former Tide standout and current Baltimore Raven Tim Williams left off. Hall got his feet wet through 10 games in 2016, accounting for 11 tackles – seven solo – a tackle for loss and a sack.
He was credited with one of the most freakish plays on A-Day, intercepting a pass off quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and returning it for a 60-yard touchdown. Before that play even happened, Hall was fixture for big moments throughout spring practice and sessions during practice last season. According to sources, there were times when he consistently frustrated offensive linemen – which adds a huge plus to his work ethic.
Hall will battle both Christian Miller and Anfernee Jennings for the starting job at jack linebacker, but rest assured that no matter what happens, head coach Nick Saban will find ways to get Hall onto the field.
Yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine joined Mark Rogers of Mark Rogers TV on Wednesday, to spotlight Hall as the third player in our Crimson Tide highlight of the week.
