Tony Brown ended his track career in style.
The senior and Alabama football defensive back was one of 24 student-athletes to earn All-American honors during the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships from June 7-10 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
Brown took home second team All-American honors for his efforts in both 100-meter dash and 4×100-meter relay. Just 12 days before the NCAA Championships, he was clocked at 10.39 seconds in the 100-meter dash on May 26, to advance on to the big stage for the third time in his career. As he returns to the gridiron in the fall, Brown looks to help a secondary get back to the College Football Playoff and win a national championship.
He finished with 32 tackles a season ago, and added two interceptions.
