Fabian Lovett, a recruit in the 2018 class, announced his top 3 today and Alabama is in, although they only offered Lovett over a week ago on June 6.

Mississippi State and Ole Miss were also included in Lovett’s top 3.
ESPN and 24/7 sports has him listed as a 3 star recruit. He is the #18 player in the state of Mississippi per 24/7 sport.
Lovett is one of those aggressive edge rusher. He is able to provide pressure on the edge as well as set to edge. A skill that college coaches value.
The 6’4″ 382 pounder is also able to take on blocks at the point of attack and land massive hits on runners. He is going to be a great asset to any team that happens to acquire him.
Alabama has some more time to make their recruiting pitch to Lovett. With the defensive resume that Nick Saban has put together at Alabama it  shouldn’t be a hard pitch to sell. The real challenge is going to be stealing Lovett from the state of Mississippi with him still strongly considering Mississippi State and Ole Miss. The fact that Lovett even put Alabama in his top 3 after only being offered a week ago shows that he is definitely interested in joining the Tide.
Alabama has really had some big news in recruiting in terms of being listed in some top recruits list of their top schools. Only time will tell weather they are actually able to land any of them.
